I was reading this article about how our bodies form connections between proteins as we age, and that this makes the proteins rigid and unusable. The article says this happens because of our metabolism, and that it cases aging and is worse in diabetics because of the exposure to sugar.
It was a little confusing--why does out metabolism create dangerous things that age and kill us? How can we stop them?
