Great question! with human growth hormone side effects generally appear only when used in excess when it is taken as injections. You really have to abuse HGH to suffer from serious side effects. Most athletes use it to actually help them heal faster from injuries but of course they can afford the best advice from doctors to actually get the correct dosage. My point is don't take HGH injections unless you have a doctor guiding you. By the way those athletes that are taking HGH are breaking the rules of fair play and probably some federal and state law.
