Facial Massage Techniques for A Youthful Look

The popularity of facial exercises as an anti-aging technique has surged once again. One of the best facial exercises that can be done to decrease the look of wrinkles, sagging, pallor, and dullness is a facial massage. It’s easy to do facial massage techniques at home, and the best part is that these facial exercises also relieve stress and tension. With today’s busy lifestyles, who couldn’t use a cheap anti-aging treatment that also massages stress away?

How To Get Rid Of The Double Chin!

When performing facial massage techniques, special oil formulated for facial massage should always be used. Oil helps your hands glide over your skin, and without it, friction would cause tugging and pulling at the skin, which could actually increase wrinkles and sagging. Oil used for body massages is often too heavy for the face, and can result in blackheads and acne, so it is best to stick with a product specially formulated for the face.

Before starting any facial exercise routine, put a small amount of oil into one of your palms, and rub it briskly in your hands to warm it up. Whenever you feel friction between your hands and face increasing, add a small amount of oil to ensure that you are not tugging or pulling at your face.

A great massage exercise to start with is one that increases circulation to the face, while smoothing out any problem areas in the neck. Making sure that your hands are moistened with massage oil, start on one side of your neck. Use the palm of your hand, and, placing it at the base of your neck, firmly stroke upwards to the jawline. Alternate hands so that you always have one hand sweeping upwards. After about thirty seconds, do the same exercise on the other side of the neck. Finally, go over the middle of your neck, but be gentle here since it is directly over your windpipe.

To increase facial circulation and lymph drainage, as well as prevent sagging cheeks and jowls, place your index fingers along either side of your nose so that your fingertips are pointing upwards and your middle fingertips are resting lightly on the bridge of your nose. Apply firm pressure with your index fingers on either side of your nose for three to five seconds. Once the time is up, sweep your index fingers back along your face to your hairline, rolling your hand along the contours of your face so that every finger sweeps up to the hairline. Repeat this exercise ten times, at least once per day.

To reduce the appearance of wrinkles on the forehead, try this simple massage exercise. Place the palm of your hand on your face so that your first finger is resting just above your eyebrows. Apply a firm but gentle pressure as you sweep your hand upward to your hairline. Just before your first hand reaches your hairline, begin with the other hand. Continue sweeping upward, alternating hands, for about forty-five seconds, and repeat at least once a day.

To improve crow’s feet, use your middle fingers. Start at the corner of your eye and smooth one finger horizontally towards your ear. Your other middle finger should then smooth upwards from the corner of your eye towards the outer end of your eyebrow. Repeat this action ten times for each eye each day.

These massage exercises can also be done with your favorite anti-wrinkle cream substituted for massage oil. By massaging anti-wrinkle cream in so thoroughly, you will increase its effects on your skin. Anti-aging creams like LifeCell are gaining in popularity due to the fact that they erase signs of aging instantly because of their ability to diffuse light, but they also contain ingredients that get rid of wrinkles over time, meaning that you look younger even after washing them off. There are a variety of products available for sale on the internet that sound too good to be true, so it is important to do your research before spending a lot of money.

Another anti-aging strategy that is becoming more common is the use of Human Growth Hormone, or HGH. HGH injections, usually prescribed due to an HGH deficiency, promote fat loss and an increase in lean muscle. They also reduce and prevent the wrinkles, sagging, and discoloration that accompany aging. HGH is rapidly becoming a treatment of choice to prevent signs of aging, but HGH injections are expensive, and will not usually be prescribed unless you are found to have a deficiency. Luckily, there are many products out there that stimulate your body to produce more of its own HGH, like Genf20 Plus, GHR 1000, Hypergh 14x and Sytropin.

Whatever method you choose to keep looking young, remember that facial massage is easy and inexpensive, and can really add to your results!

  1. With the growing concern for looking good and looking young, several treatments surfaced. There are skin care products that can do a lot of things from erasing wrinkles, age lines, crow’s feet, and other aging signs that show off on the skin. There are also surgical procedures that promise to deliver instant gratification. Then, there are also facial exercises that some say can do wonders on the skin’s texture and appearance. They can solve the problems of dullness and sagging, two things that the aging society have become highly concerned. The only problem is, the long wait. How many repetitions do you actually need to make double chins completely disappear (or do they?), for example. I didn’t read anything about that.

  2. I think facial exercises are for those who are too coward to face the risks of side effects (from topical treatments and surgical solutions) and too energetic to work themselves to death to enjoy the youthful glow. There are short cuts to looking youthful. HGH supplements are readily available everywhere!

  3. Reading about all the different movements you can do to improve your skin’s exterior, I somehow felt tired. There are so many things that I should do when I can just pop one pill and let all the aging signs go away. Clever, isn’t it?
